Ever wish to ride on a train like this? With IKEA’s sofa everywhere? With the colours that makes you attracted to it? Well, I can’t deny that I just love IKEA furniture. Especially the one that specialised for kids corner. Oh dear… it is so awesome! Cute! The combination of the colours are so much vibrant and attractive too. Some are just dead gorgeous even IKEA’s chose to set it dull. Simple @ its own professional way. Cool uuhh?

Actually this image above was taken from Team Junk wordpress blog.

Read to what the Team Junk says:
This is out of this world! Swedish furniture giant IKEA pimped up the Kobe Portliner Monorail into a moving showroom in honour of a new store opening at Port Island.

Until May 6, passengers in Kobe can enjoy an eclectic mix of colourful upholstery and blinds whilst riding the train. The outside of the trains have received the same psychedelic colour treatment.

Although perhaps not to everyone’s taste, I’m loving the idea of pimping trains! I think this would sure make the morning commute here in London just that little bit more bearable.

Poisoneyes says: Urm, that’s true to what she had says all above. IKEA is just too cute and too unique. I love the design! Used to remember when I join Design and Technology during my secondary life. Was very excited to check out the latest design from IKEA. Well, it help me in gaining knowledge for some of my artefacts. I do really fall in love with the colours combination to all its design. Attract the people’s eyes and yes it does really caught my attention. So, let me cut it short. Not wanting to miss out using all its different design. Guess what did I do exactly? Girls game & Boys game

May 3rd, 2008 poisoneyes Posted in Games Review 1 Comment »

Seven-year-old girls love their Nintendo DS more than any of their other possessions, according to a “favourite things” survey carried out by Gogoblin.

With apparently little interest shown in gaming from ages 4 to 6 – when boys are discovering hand held gaming devices – at age seven the Nintendo DS suddenly bursts onto the scene as their favourite toy – preferred by 26%.

From the age of seven, hand-held consoles take the top spot and go more or less unchallenged until they hit the teenage years.

By 13, girls value music and friends above everything, and their favourite things become iPods (22%), mobile phones (17%) and computers (13%).

Boy’s fave things at the age of seven are split between electronics, construction games and toys, and sports.

By the time they become teenagers, boys are into their games consoles in a major way, 40% of boys love their PS2, Xbox or their Nintendo Wii best of all.

The folks behind the survey, Gogoblin is the only site of its kind, that lets children to create lists of the specific toys and games they want for any special occasion, giving parents and friends some much needed guidance.

Need for Speed Turns a Corner

EA announces Pro Street, the world’s first street racing simulation. First media included.

May 31, 2007 – The new Need for Speed is here: Pro Street.

Don’t get confused. This isn’t like other EA Street titles with over-the-top arcade slam dunks and impossible maneuvers. This is Pro Street. In fact, EA did the exact opposite and created an entire new genre of racer: the street racing simulation. “The Fast and the Furious” meets Forza.

Well, don’t tell that to producer Michael Mann. His team at EA Black Box, responsible for NFS: Most Wanted, wants to distance Pro Street as far away from “The Fast and the Furious” as possible. Pro Street isn’t about a glowing, fluorescent purple underbelly to your car. Pro Street is 100 percent about performance and the culture of street racing.

And if you didn’t know, street racing happens to be illegal. To accommodate, professional race tracks are opening their doors to street racers in unheard of numbers. Pro Street will feature real world locations like Sears Point Raceway (now Infineon Raceway) near Sonoma, Calif. While EA wouldn’t go into detail on the other tracks, it did say that you can expect a number of “iconic locations” in Asia, Europe and the States.
